| This paper is devoted to the study of the existence and uniqueness of positive periodic solutions for a generalized Nicholson-type differential equation with iterative arguments and nonlinear harvesting effects. By means of the Green's function corresponding to the associated linear periodic problem, the equation is reformulated as an equivalent integral equation. Subsequently, an appropriate operator is constructed in a Banach space of periodic functions. Applying Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem and Banach's contraction principle, along with suitable analytical estimates, we derive sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of positive periodic solutions. The results obtained generalize and improve several known contributions concerning Nicholson-type equations with delays and iterative terms. Finally, an example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results. | ||
