| چکیده | ||
| We develop and analyze adaptive-in-time IMEX Euler and adaptive-in-time Crank-Nicolson-type schemes on nonuniform spatial meshes for a singular nonlocal parabolic problem. Midpoint cell quadrature yields a discrete operator whose sign structure gives comparison and invariant-region properties. Under an explicit adaptive step restriction, both schemes preserve the discrete solution between zero and the singular level one, and entry into a sufficiently high discrete level implies finite numerical quenching. We prove convergence before quenching and convergence of discrete level times. Numerical tests compare uniform and graded meshes, locate the quenching region, and yield mutually consistent Richardson extrapolations with observed order close to two. | ||
